Psoriasis, eczema, vitiligo, and alopecia areata are skin disorders that can tremendously negatively impact patients' Quality of Life.
Until recently, this impact on Quality of Life was severely underestimated. In fact today, very little exists in the way of tracking the number of individuals with these diseases, both in the United States and worldwide, while far lesser diseases are actively tracked. In recent years, psoriasis awareness has experienced a sharp and welcome boost from a variety of organizations. With that increase in public awareness has come increased funding driving clinical study of various technological and pharmaceutical products. Indeed, pharmaceutical markets for drugs treating psoriasis have grown massively, and are projected to continue growing. Eczema has very recently begun to experience an increase in awareness, though funding and treatment "inertia" have yet to be on pace with that of psoriasis.
Psoria-Shield promotes awareness of these diseases, of their impact on Quality of Life, and on the least toxic and most effective treatments.
Psoria-Shield advocates the use of targeted UV phototherapy to address those aspects of patients' disease which reduce their Quality of Life the most, first. By addressing the major detractors from patients' Quality of Life initially, patients and healthcare providers can address the remaining regions of skin with less aggressive therapy.

Scot Johnson - Chief Executive Officer
Scot Johnson has 18-years of experience centered on Class II medical device design, manufacturing, and program management. He has participated in the design and deployment of 41 FDA-cleared, CE marked medical devices, and has overseen large scale ISO engineering and production operations. Mr. Johnson has monitored and co-authored 53 clinical studies and has authored 17 patent applications. He incorporated Psoria-Shield, recognizing the enormous unmet need for rapid improvement in Quality of Life for patients suffering from chronic skin disorders. Always endeavoring to incorporate the very latest technological advances, he and his team designed Psoria-Light, the world’s first targeted UV phototherapy device using deep UV LEDs originally created for use in military and space environment.
Andrew Stewart - Board Member
Andrew Stewart is a results driven executive with over 15 years of experience building and growing businesses to deliver superior revenue performance returns. He has managed worldwide field operation, global channel sales, inside sales, sales operations, field marketing and customer support for several corporations. Strong team leadership, organization and management skills coupled with demonstrated ability to achieve profitable growth across a variety of industries and geographies. Mr. Stewart has led his affiliates from pre-revenue to $5 billion.
James Fuller - Board Member
James (Jim) Fuller has over 30 years experience in the brokerage and related financial services industries. Following a Presidential appointment by Ronald Reagan in 1981, he served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC) until 1987. He was also a Senior Vice President of Marketing for Charles Schwab and Company from 1981 to 1985 being responsible for all marketing and sales efforts. As well as Bridge Systems co founder and Senior Vice President New York Stock Exchange. From 1995 to 1998 Mr. Fuller was the founder, President and Managing Director of Morgan Fuller Capital Group, a registered broker/dealer based in San Francisco, CA. Mr. Fuller is currently a Partner in the private equity firm, Baytree Capital where he oversees the west coast operations and their interests in the Far East, including China. Mr. Fuller is past Chairman of the Board of the Pacific Research Institute, a public think tank in San Francisco and is a member of the Board of the International Institute of Education. He is an elected member of the San Francisco Republican Central Committee where he is vice Chairman for Finance. He also sits as a member of the California State Republican Party. Mr. Fuller is a member of the Pacific Council for International Policy, Commonwealth Club and past member of the Committee of Foreign Relations. He also served on the Board of Trustees of the University of California – Santa Cruz for 12 years. Mr. Fuller received his MBA in Finance from California State University and his Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Political Science from San Jose State University.

Joseph Pergolizzi, Jr., M.D. is an internationally recognized expert in Pain Medicine, Anesthesia, Internal Medicine, Clinical Research and Drug Discovery. Dr. Pergolizzi has a long history of innovating new medical technologies and carrying them through to clinical viability. Mr. Pergolizzi brings vast experience to Psoria-Shield, from advisement on fund raising and corporate structure, to practical clinical design and testing, and structuring companies for larger scale development.
